GREEK WEEK 2010
Last year’s inaugural Greek Week went extremely well, and the committee is working very hard and is excited to make this event even better than last year! We hope that your chapters choose to participate and help make this a fun and competitive event that will bring our Greek community together.
Purposes of Greek Week include:
- Promote healthy relationships between the fraternities and sororities of Virginia Tech
- Show the Virginia Tech community how involved the organizations are on campus and in our surrounding community
- Raise money to help fund the relief effort of Haiti, to donate food to local shelters, and to increase blood donations to the Red Cross
Dates for Greek Week:
Saturday April 17: Free Concert on Drillfield feat. Dave Matthews Tribute Band
Monday April 19: Speaker/ Letter Day in Squires Colonial
Tuesday April 20: Red Cross Blood Drive in Oak Lane
Wednesday April 21: Greek Sing in Burruss
Thursday April 22: Canned Food Castles on Campus
Friday April 23: Field Games in Oak Lane
Monday April 26: Greek Awards in Burruss
All Week: Greek God & Goddess Competition
REGISTRATION
Each Chapter will be responsible for paying a registration fee in order to help pay for the weeks activities so that all profits from each event would to go benefit Relay for Life.
Registration Fees:
- PHC Chapters - $90
- IFC Chapters with over 45 members - $90
- IFC Chapters with less than 45 members - $50
- NPHC and UCFS Chapters - $30
